"Hope Now" Book-Signing at #CAFO2019
As a board member of the Christian Alliance for Orphans (CAFO), I enjoy attending the CAFO Summit each year, in addition to vulnerable child and orphan care being among one of our ministries since the very beginning of Buckner International in 1879. It's inspiring to see more than 2,000 individuals from various backgrounds, nonprofits, and ministries coming together to fellowship and grow their knowledge for such an important need in our world, and that is helping take care of children who have no families.
At this year's CAFO Summit in Louisville, Kentucky, at Southeast Christian Church, I had the opportunity to do a book-signing at the Buckner booth. We had a limited supply of advance copies of "Hope Now," and I also signed several copies of "Jesus Agenda," my first book. Here are some photos from the book-signing:
It was so enjoyable meeting people from all over the world who have a heart for orphan care. I was also excited to learn that next year's CAFO conference will be in Dallas where Buckner started 140 years ago.
We're getting closer to the official launch of "Hope Now," and I look forward to meeting other readers along the journey.
