Buckner's history and what it means to racial equality

Many of you may know about Buckner's long history of serving vulnerable children, families and seniors. In fact, Buckner has been in continuous operation since 1879. For those of you who enjoy history, our founding occurred just shortly after the Civil War, and among the first people to be served were orphans and widows due to the events of the War.
